Everybody loves a bargain, particularly if its from extravagant department store Harvey Nichols. The company reported stellar post-Christmas sales, as customers queued up in the early hours of Boxing Day for discount luxury items.
The extravagant department store Harvey Nichols said its post-Christmas Sale had broken records despite tube strikes in the capital, reduced trading hours and problems with transportation due to the snow.
Following a strong year for handbag sales, stock levels of previous season’s must-have handbags were limited at 30 percent discount.
The fourth floor of the Knightsbridge store had performed well during the first three days of the post-Christmas Sale, added Harvey Nichols, with brands including McQ and 3.1 Phillip Lim “excelling”. D&G outperformed the rest with the designer label’s denim trim coat at 50 percent off selling out in the first hour.
The extravagant department store Harvey Nichols said that menswear had been “exceptional” so far, with brands including Paul Smith and Acne among the bestsellers.
