As the campaign trail goes on, there is one thing that stays modern again and again – for sure, it’s New York City. After an appearance in the Fall/Winter 2011 advertisement for Dolce & Gabbana and DKNY as well, the Big Apple also performs as a background in Alexander Wang‘s latest offering.
The designer Alexander Wang creates an ‘image piece’, as he calls it. For its release previous week, the video was projected onto constructions around New York City to suit the supernatural horror movie vibe.
As the central still, the video recording illustrates Raquel Zimmermann stomping through a deserted Brooklyn plant to the beats of SebastiAn and M.I.A.’s “CTFO” at the same time as sporting a splintered black dress and being drenched in rain.
What else will Alexander Wang make us wearing the coming autumn months? We’re already looking longingly at these grey cushion coats and heavy-ribbed knits, fur passion is still keeping on firm and obviously, it’s all about zips.
